Patient FAQ

Do I need a referral to see Dr Chahoud?

Yes. Your referring dental or medical practitioner will provide you with a referral. Please bring this along to your initial consultation.

What should I bring to the initial consultation?
Please bring your referral letter and any xrays that you have been given. Ensure you have your Medicare and Private Health fund cards.

Can I obtain a quote over the phone?

Quotes can be provided over the phone for consultations and commonly referred procedures such as the extraction of teeth.

How much will I get back from my Health Fund?

A written quotation will be given to you at your consultation with the relevant item numbers. This will allow you to contact your fund directly and they will advise you of your rebate and out of pocket costs. Rebates vary depending on the health fund and your level of cover.

Is there parking available?

Parking stations are available in the CBD on Turbot St and Cousins Lane, 50 meters from the Brisbane practice. For your convenience, we are located directly across the road from Central Station.

There is ample free parking available at our Browns Plains Surgery.
